I took some books from my shelf this morning to lend to a friend. They were books that I had used to guide me in the details of writing, and publishing. Notes, on scraps of paper fell out of each until there was a pile of them.
I was about to throw them out, but instead I sat down and read each one. I had made note of many things over the years, and especially when doing my research. What I have just read, has reminded me of the path that I have travelled; what were merely references on paper, and didn't make a lot of sense to me then ... makes so much sense now ... it has all added up.
I have accomplished what I set out to do, and these notes are a reminder of that. All the years of processing information, and experiencing life first hand, has come home to me.
One note in particular stood out. It reads: "God is mind. We are of God when we enter that mind. Heaven is the state we live in when we enter that mind."
And I am in that place now ...

ReplyDeleteThank you Michele! I make note of many things, and what is written may apply at the time, or along the track at a later date ... I mention a slip of paper turning up after many years,in "White Balloons." It only had one word written on it, but it was most significant then.
